A child has special educational needs if they have a learning problem or disability that make it more difficult for them to learn than most children their age. They may have problems with schoolwork, communication or behaviour. Parents can get help and advice from specialists, teachers and voluntary organisations.

Special education can take place in various environments, from fully inclusive classrooms to specialized resource rooms, depending on the student’s needs and the school’s resources.
How Special Education Helps
Special education tailors learning plans to each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and goals through Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). These plans outline specific goals and accommodations, ensuring that the education a student receives directly aligns with their needs. The most important mission of special education is to provide students with special needs with development opportunities and a learning process that will improve the quality of their life.
Who Can Benefit from Special Education
